one more ro/di question

i am going to be out of the country for about 2 weeks, and was wondering if i should take the ro and di filters out of the canisters and store them in a plastic bag in the fridge. or if they will be ok as is as long as i place the tubing above the unit so the water can't run out.

The filters should be fine provided they remain wet.
