who here uses and overflow box to feed their AquaC remora? i have a bit of a film on the water surface, and i want to know if the overflow box will take care of it.

i think i may end up making my own custom one (or just buy the aquac one), but i want to know if they are worth the effort, or if it isnt worth it?

I have used this overflow box. I found I had to keep adding water to the tank on a daily basis to keep the water level from dropping due to evaporation thus no water was flowing into the oveflow box into the skimmer.

The overflow box should take care of the film on the surface since its taking the water off the surface.

They really are more trouble then they are worth, i never push them on customers. To break up the surface film some power heads aimed at the surface works better then the surface box.
