I don't think that will be a problem. I've never had any jumpers.

My peppermint swims to the top at night. I have never had a problem with him jumping out(no cover).

I never really see my 2 peps swimming around the tank. They mostly glide from rock to rock and spend most of their time hiding in caves in my lr except when I feed the tank. They never go anywhere near the top of my tank.

mine are hiding constantly. I never ever see them out of the cave. Are mine just litle chicken that hide all the time? I had them for about two weeks, are they just shy in the beginning?

Most shrimp are shy for a week or 2.
Peps are not as forward as scarlet skunk cleaner, but should show themselves eventually.
Give em a little time.
