peppermint shrimp attacking bubble anemone

I just added a bubble tip anemone to my tank. It was opening up very nicely until a peppermint shrimp went over and started ripping it up. Is this typical?

sounds like a rebal peppermint to me. I have a rose BTA and two peppermint shrimp with out any problems. How does the anemone look? If it is stressed it may be giving off some type of "come and eat me" scent.
