I have read that if you have two clowns, one will presume the role of the female and grow to be larger and more dominant. However, is there anyway to encourage breeding?

One of my clowns is displaying this female tendency and I would love to see them lay eggs.

I do not have any anenomes. Found them very hard to keep successfully (and expensive to try).

If your truely interested in breeding and raising clownfish...I highly recommend the book Clownfishes by Joyce Wilkerson, you can find a link to it at Amazon in our book library.
