ph increase
Hey-
I just added a new csl pc to my fow/lr and about two days into using it my ph went up to 8.6, is there any connection between the increase in ph because of the light? or what are some other possibilities? like two weeks ago i added fifteen lbs of lr but only had a small increase in nitrite for a day. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as I have never had a ph increase in a little over a year.

i dont think light would cause an increase in PH. Have you measured your ALK lately. Also what do you add to the tank, Ca etc?
