Pink spotted goby

I picked one up tonight and he's just kinda hanging around the bottom not moving a whole lot. At first I thought he'd be dead by morning but..... now I'm starting to wonder.. I know these fish arent' overly active, but he doesn't seem to be "taking cover" or doing anything extraordinary... is this normal??????

I just put two orange spotted gobies in my tank, and one went under the rocks for a day and a half and the other just sat there for a day and a half in the back corner. So just from experience I would say you are fine. Plus gobies just kinda sit there anyway. Mine have since built them caves and tunnels under the rocks.

What was your acclimation process?

Sounds about like what mine is doing. I fed them this morning and he went after the food so I think he'll be alright. I floated the bag and added water little by little for about an hour or an hour and a half.

Should be fine. Just a little schocked. It is good that he is eating.
