I just upgraded from my 27G to a 80G reef tank and my 27G is now working as a sump. I still use my seaclone skimmer but i want to upgrade due to constant need of adjustment and bubbles in my tank. Do you guys recommend a in sump skimmer?
If you want SPS than Metal Halide is the only way to go to do it right. I would do 2 250 watt MH supplemented with actinics either PC or VHO. You could also do a retro kit if you had a hood or canopy to bolt them into. Take alook at the Hamilton hoods on my site and that will give you a good i dea of whats availible and if it is within your budget.
