I have been waiting to develop pods on my live rock so I can get a manderin goby, but I never see anything when I inspect the rock. Well today when I was changing the filter, I noticed like things moving around on the filter. I looked at it more closely and noticed these very tiny brownish slug looking things moving around on the filter. Are those pods?

I believe so. I used to have them in my old tank and they would get stuck on the inside my Fluval canister filter pads. I don't know which type, but they are some type of pods.

The best way to see your pod population is at night with all lights off. Get a flashlight and shine it on your rocks. It should give you a good idea of your pods.
