Polyps Question

Hey guys I bought a cool litle rock with green star polpys covering it yesterday. I know it can take some time for polyps to come out when you buy them, but my hermit crabs have been all over them since i brought them home yesterday, are the hermit crabs the reason only half of my polyps have come out?

Might be ... I have some GSP in my Nano and I notce that when the hermits make their way onto the rock the polyps tend to close, but then they come right back out and kind of cover the hermits!

Give it some time though if you only got them yesterday they need time to adjust, I think it took mine about a week to fully open! What kind of lights are you running?

I am running compact floresence 2x65 actinic 2x65 12k for a total of 260 watts on a 55 gal.

Oh then your good on lighting ... just give them some time and they will come around.
