Porcupine Puffer

I have had my porcupine puffer for nearly a year now. For probably the past month or two he has seemed to have a slime coat on him. He is still eating well and my water parameters seem fine. Does anyone have any ideas on what might be wrong with him or how to treat him.

Thanks

FeedingFrenzy

Last time tested everything looked good cept PH was a little low at 7.8 in the process of raising it with buffer, and salinity was between 1.019 and 1.020 and also in the process of raising.

id get those levels up a bit and give him a few small water changes and see hows he doing! if not better try to take a pic so others might chime in after seeing a good pic
curious what do you feed him also?

I was just reading forum entries on a puffer website and it said after puffers are shipped, sometimes they will be all slimy do to being stressed.

I know you said you've had him a year but maybe you want to try a de-stresser water additive?
