powerhead placement

I just bought 2 maxijets 1200 powerheads, im not sure how to best place them in the tank allso have a fuval 400 to move watter around .. 65 gal tank is there a direction i should face them.. should i place them towards the bottom or top of the tank? thanks!

Maybe one on top facing down the length of the tank and the other one closer to the bottom facing the other way but more towards the front glass. This will cause a circular/up-down movement. Then adjust as necessary for your livestock.

Agreed wit electrikat I use the rio 600 I have 3 in my tank right now opposite sides and I am going to place 3 more in when they come in from ebay. I also have a 65 gallon aquarium I am planing on putting 2 behind the live rock 2 right over the sand and two over the LR.
