powerhead placement ?

i have 2 mj 900 in my 46 tank i have the set on the sides of the tank walls about 8" down from the surface, and the flow arms are on a angle towards the center of the glass, is that the best spot?,i also have lr in the tank

Drop some food in the tank and look for dead spots on the surface. You may want to add a thrid powhead. It is nice to have one positioned so that it's flow ripples and breaks the surface of the water.
