Pregnant Emerald Crab

Check out the fat bulge. Anyone have any info on pregnant emeralds? This is new to me.

Well, I can tell you for sure it isn't prego.. Lol.. However.. Do a quick google search on them carrying eggs in a sacks. Looks like that could be it.

She released her eggs!


It's hard to see in the pictures but there are hundreds of little eggs or larvae floating around!

It will be near impossible to raise the babies assuming you have fish and a strong filter.

Well this is all occurring in my 5 gallon pico reef. No filter, no fish. I take that as I have some better odds
