Protein skimmer goin crazy from bio pellet reactor

It keeps skimming right out of the cup in a matter of seconds

You prob have to dial it down until it gets adjusted to the new chemistry of your water. Mine used to run fine when I added a Koralin Plus additive and caused an overflow one time from mega skimming and ever since when I add that I have to turn it way down or off or it floods out. Prob same principle here for you.
