qustion about anemones

i have a reef and the water is 1 year old a mount ago i brought 4 anemones in all but one survived a purpel tip anemone and the other srunk to small and died? what can i do?

Were they all the same type? If not they might have killed each other off. Chemical warfare is common. I'll bet the one that is left was the largest, and he started looking kinda bad before the others died, right?
