ok so tomorrow i plan on taking apart my LED light to remove the optics ive seen videos and researched it and think im ready to do it because i want a more wide light not just 90 degrees...

How many of you have done it and are happy with the results?
if i take it apart is it still good for the warrenty?
any advice or other comments about other people that have removed the optics from their reef breeders light?

I've done it to 2 units, and am very happy with the light spread. Theres nothing to removing the optics, slight 1/4 turn on they lift right off.

can i leave some off and some on or its best to take them all off?

do you think the warranty will be voided if they find out i took it apart?

Oh yea, warranty out the window if you take it apart.
You can leave on what you want to, for the look your going after, won't hurt anything.
