Reef ready tanks with durso pipes

Anyone here with an Aqueon reef ready tank using the durso pipes inside the duel overflow boxes? It has been a long time for me and I can't remember if I am sussposed to glue those pipes inside of the bulkheads.

Ha I just got my first one I need to figure this out too.

Well my drain pipe made a burp sound and then the drain pipe I guess popped out of the bulkhead and then I started hearing loud water sounds coming from inside the overflow box. I just don't remember if I had glued the durso pipes inside the bulkheads when I had a 125 reef ready tank a long time ago.

I don't glue my mega overflows..
I have 4 aqueons with the mega overflows75 /2X 120 /180 ,and all work fine just push fit...
If you glue them you will hold water in the overflow even after draining tank...GALLONS...
