So my refugium has grown to capacity, I need to remove alot of the macro algae that has actually started growing out of it (it dies quickly) and what way should I solve this problem?
Thanks!

Do you have tangs in your tank. Mine love eating it. You do need to prune it back because it will go sexual and cause some very cloudy water. Never let it get packed in there.

Its a good idea to remove a small ball or handful weekly or biweekly to maintain it and remove the nutrients it has absorbed. As stated above it can make great food for tangs.
