Regal Tang

I bought a regal tang about a week ago and he is doing well, I was told tangs are vegetarians but he wont touch sea weed he keeps eating brine shrimp is this normal as this is my first tang. Cheers

That's normal for tangs when theyre new to the environment. Mine took at least 2 weeks for it to start eating nori. Even though they don't eat it try putting nori every other day and just take it out when they your regal doesnt eat it. eventually, your regal will learn how to eat nori from the clip.

Soak the nori in garlic guard it will help entice him cause if he only eats brine he will most likely end up with lateral line due to not having the proper nutrition
