Releasing an anenome

In moving my tank, my anenome got attached to a rock I can't have it stay on. How do I get it to release its foot?

Tickle its foot with something. If you dont feel the sting then you could use your fingers to lightly masasge the foot to coax it to release. If your suspectable to their sting then try something else like the blunt end of a scraper handle.

you can also try directing your power head at it. It may move on its own.

I haven't tried this but some say that rubbing an ice cube made of RO/DI or distilled water on the anemone's foot gently will cause to release a little bit. Than you carefully peel the foot off.
