I want to replace my bimini pink sand with some finer grain sand. I really don't like the big pieces that the bimini has in it. Should I just replace a section at a time?

Though that would be all best practice, in reality your pink sand will end up getting mixed up with the new and most likely white sand. Since you have enough live rock in the tank you could easily remove all of the existing sandbed and then slowly adding the new sand with some PVC to avoid a sandstorm.

Siphon out the old sand in 1/4 sections over a weeks time with some plastic hosing. Each time you take out a section slide the already rinsed new sand down a piece of PVC.
