ro/di water storage question

Just curious.....how long do you allow your ro/di water to sit before you mix it up with the salt? The reason I ask is that I've just gotten my 20 gallons of ro/di water and something came up and I won't be able to do my water change for a couple more days. Is it ok to leave in the storage containers (those 5 gallon plastic containers) for a couple of days before I mix it with the salt?

Thanks!

Send a message via AIM to Lance M.
It should be fine. Just leave the containers closed and then aerate the water very well when you mix it with the salt.

You should be OK for that time frame.

I keep mine in a rubbermaid tub for at least 2-3 weeks between water changes and use it for top-offs.
