rodi auto top off

I got a new rodi on the way n I would like some ideas for auto top off I don't got a lot of money. So I was tinking gravity feed would a swamp cooler float work ?

The float valve is a crucial item as it could cause you great grief. I have one I bought from Kent Marine that has lasted over 15 years now. I would not buy anything not designed for saltwater aquariums as it may have metal parts inside.
