Hey all just wanted to share a tip I learned from a friend about rodi systems. Any system I have seen has the di resin in canisters mounted horizontally. If you flip them to sit vertical the di is much much more effective. I did this months ago after seeing my tds increase (it was either 20 or 40 don't remember) and it extended the life of my resin and brought my tds down to zero. I actually was able to run my rodi system without changing filters, membrane or resin for 2 years.

Thats a great idea, ive thought about why all of our reactors are all vertical, and our di cartridges arent. I will have to set mine like this! Thanks!

Partially, I have found that to be true on both my drinking water model but not the aquariums. The water passes through the resin at a more affective rate. This just may be because the water is purified to different standards.
