Salt water fish

Hey guys,
In a couple of weeks I'll be getting a 6tf salt water fish tank with everything including fish off a family friend,
Is there any pointers on how to clean and look after them, I have always wanted salt water fish, I have always had fresh water fish, and this will be my first salt water fish so excited.

This forum is full of great threads. Just pick one and follow along. Don't be afraid to ask questions. There are also podcasts and many web based suppliers with good info, most of the time. Most of all, be patient. Coral cultivation is like having a garden where the strawberries can kill off the onions.
