is sandblasting sand the same as silica sand?? where can i get them at the bay area..ive been to home depot and all they have is light brown silica sand...where can i get the white, fine sandblasting sand????

yea i believe that it is !! how close are ya to the ocean?? id get sand there if it was me 
the best way to make sure ya have the right sand is to test it with vinegar !! if ya hear it fizzle ya good
