Well, I want to first start out by saying thanks to everyone on here. Great reading and good information. Santa's bringing me a 72 bowfront with MH&PC lighting. Found someone who has some Southdown sand and have ordered some books, PH's and heater. Now I've just got to figure out the sump/refugium! One question though, any reason a refugium couldn't be a food safe rubbermaid color container? Can't wait to get back in. Merry Christmas to all and a hearty thank you!

Sure you can use a rubbermade contaner for a refuge.

Thanks for the quick response and for the great info. One other question for anyone, where are the best places for lr on the web? Not the cheapest but the best quality.
