Should I add a Large Conch Shell ?

Rookie here.....and starting up 1st saltwater tank ever and looking for advice now on a large Conch Shell 8" that we have. It's very old, never been varnished with anything....raw shell.....
short of boiling it and cleaning it good......should I be worried about anything else if I add this to my 25 gal tank? will this make my ph, etc. go cracy all the time

I will be trying to add a dry reefsaver aquascape and a little soft coral and fish at some point.......but for now just trying to figure out getting the tank setup and cycled.....

any opinions? it's a great looking Conch Shell..... I think it will look great.....but I have zero experience... 🤣

Shouldn’t be an issue to add it, just clean it real well beforehand. It’s not gonna raise ph more than your rock and saltwater will. Would probably look cool covered in zoas or mushrooms!

Sounds fun and interesting focal point. Make sure to make a thread and post pictures.
