Shrimp vs. snails?

In the last week or so I've noticed my shrimp picking on and leading to the death of about 4-5 decent sized nassarius snails. I am feeding 3 small cleaners and 2 large blood shrimp 8-10 sinking pellets every other day. Why are they slowly taking out my snails?

Are you absolutely sure the snails are in good health when the shrimp go after the snails. Never heard of that. Do the snails have enough to eat? They could be starving, then the shrimp come in to clean up.

Yeah I would have agree unlikely healthy snails would be attacked by shrimp
