I know mushrooms typically like waterflow to be on the low side, but can they still thrive if it's fairly brisk?

I noticed a hitchhiker shroom on some rock that's in a high flow area and was wondering if I should bother doing something about it.. The rock can't be moved so I'd have to cut the shroom off to move it.

Nah. You can just leave him be. If the water is agitating it, it will move on its own dropping babies behind in its path.
