so i had bought some cheato from ducky, it was really nice and there was lots of it, so i had it in my fuge, then i went away for a couple days and when i came back evaporation took its toll, well the heater never shut off in the fuge and the flow stopped going back to the main tank, so the water practically was boiling in the fuge, im sure it killed everything on m,y liverock pieces and the cheato was all nasty looking, is there any chance this stuff could make a comeback? or should i just take it out and toss it? thanks for any help

I had cheato survive in a rubbermaid with sand and no light atroom temp for over a month. It did not thrive but once I got everything set up it started growing out of the sand.
