I'm looking at buying the EuroReef ES5-2 skimmer from premium aquatics but my question is how deep does the water have to be in order to get this skimmer to skim. i'm asking because the water in my sump is only about 7 inches deep. i could fill it higher if i have to but i wanted to ask if any one knows anything about this skimmer. this may be a stupid question but before this it has been nothing but
HOB and my amiricle wet/dry with a built in skimmer. so this is my first try at this type of thing
