I have a 55g, and i was thinking of getting the Aqua C EV-120. Would that be overkill for my tank? If it is, can you guys recommend something that would be more suitable? I was thinking that you can't really overskim, but if the benefits of a bigger skimmer after a certain point isn't that much greater over a smaller one, then i might as well save money and get a smaller one. I was also thinking that if i ever go with a bigger tank in the future (was in the future), that i would still have a skimmer i can use. What do you guys think?

I think it is a fine choice and will give you some leeway in case you upgrade to a slightly larger tank.
