Small white things

So I have just turned my light on now to quickly look at my tank before bed.

I see these tiny white things on the glass moving around. They are really small I can only just see them. They seem to be kind of swimming on the glass. I have seen probably about 20. But I suspect there are more.

Can anyone tell me what they are?

I can't get a good picture where you can see them.

Do they look like small shrimp? Could be some pods.

They are that small I can't really make out what shape or form they are.

They could possibly have a really small tail at the back maybe like a third size of their total body.

But I mean these things are smaller than a grain of sand.

I just don't want them to hurt anything.

So I just looked up copepods and I think this is what they are.

It's from over feeding or not doing water changes IMO. I get them sometimes in my shrimp tanks

Pods are a natural part of saltwater ecosystem. Part of the food chain. Not a result of over feeding.

They are a sign of a heathy system and a normal part of its development. Free food for your fish.
