spear gun

I need a spear gun, found 2 crab in my live rock...
Them litter sucker are fast, suggestion on how to get them out without removing the rock.?........If I turn off the light for about 1/2 hour they come out of there holes, but pop right back in

Try baiting a tall drinking glass with some food and placing in the tank near a rock so that the crab can get in. The crabs can't climb the smooth glass and will be trapped. Since they come out at night, trap em at night HTH.

I agree, That works for me. The crabs end up sitting in the bottom dumbfounded.

Then..... they get the free ride to my crab tank... just so happens that there is a peacock mantis living in that tank.

I use a clear rod with a sharp point and spearfish with it.. .
It's a feeding stick..

Thats what Im using now, its a wooden skewer the ones you make
shish kabob......I seen one go into a hole so I poke the pointy end in the hole several time.....I never seen him come out........Maybe I skewed him....ya think.????????

Using the glass jar trick should work. Place some food in the bottom and tilt it up aganst the rock or something.

Hey snap - are there pics of that crab tank? Sounds cool. Keeping a mantis and feeding him live foods. Awesome!
