Sps growing down

Why is my sps growing downward like this?

Digitata grows pretty strangely sometimes, shouldn't be an issue beyond aesthetics. Could be a reaction to your flow pattern?

Or it could be like a plant growing towards the light to get more, maybe it's growing down to get away?

I've moved my flow around a lot so I don't think that flow would change its growth pattern. Light makes sense though

its usually not due to anything, its just how digitata grows like flreefer said..my orange digi did the same thing and then turned up

IME, corals go with the flow and I have seen branches grow downward like that before.

It is probably because of the flow. I wouldnt worry about it. Some of my sps have grown the same way
