Strange anthia question

I purchased 3 Dispar anthias last year, one male two females. Over the past month, the larger female seems to be turning male. Her head is bright pink like the male, and she's fighting with him a lot. The male is haunting and protecting the smaller female constantly. I know that when the male anthia dies in a school that the largest female will turn male. Should I remove the larger female? Add another smaller female? Just curious.
