would super (crazy)glue
affect the water after it dries

Nope. I've squeezed tubes underwater. Didn't work like I wanted underwater, but no harm to the fish. I made sure no one gulped any of the stuff that didn't take and floated around. Folks use it all the time for coral fragging.

I use the super glue crazy gel and have seen no problems yet. Althought I wouldnt advise squeezing whole tubes of it underwater.

Yeah. I learned that one. I think if a fishy swallowed one those floating, curing drops, he'd have been a goner.
