sw in 20 gal

is sw is to do in a 20 gal it is cheap for me tp light and buy the equipement
i would a sump

Yes you can do SW in a 20g tank, do not expect it to be cheap though. Or easy, it will require a lot of research and planning.

I have a 20g sw setup. Gallon for gallon it's just not that much cheaper to go smaller. If you have the space and budget it would probably be cheaper in the long run to go with at least a 55g. Skimmer and filtration are going to be about the same for a 20 as for a 55. Lighting will only be minimally more expensive but larger tanks require less maintenance to keep the water parameters good. A 20 g or smaller can go over the edge in a very short time.
