Tail Spot Blenny

Hey guys - I lost my tail spot blenny today, added him to the tank in May 2012 and was curious about what the lifespan of these little guys is. I think diet played a part of it, and he had a bowel obstruction or something, but I was also just curious about the lifespan.

aww, Im so sorry for your loss. I just recently got mine, and he is quickly becoming my favorite part of the tank. I am not sure how long thier life span is. Did you little guy eat any prepared foods or just algae?

I found a site that quoted 2-4 years, he mostly ate frozen food put in for other fish and some algae. He should've eatten more algae than protein though I've since learned. They are fun little fish and had great personality. Will Definitely get a replacement for him.
