Should you still have your temputure on in the summer or not?

I leave it on but I keep the AC on in the room with my tank. I think that it's better to leave it on in case the temperature drops suddenly rather than leave it to chance.

Yeah. If you dont have an ac, the heater should turn off when the desired temp is reached
