Is the Salt Water Master Test kit Liquid

tests for

high range pH

Ammonia

Nitrite

Nitrate


what should they all be at ? i just started the tank today still a lil cloudy

Preferrably below 10 ppm, but how bad they are will be determined by the type of set up.

I've had bad luck with AP test kits. Some others have too. The Ammonia definitely isn't accurate if your using Instant Ocean.

AP is about the cheapest liquid test kits and regarded as low end. You should try Red Sea or even better Salifert or LaMott.

I have the AP test kit. Everything is checking out good except for nitrate which is still high in my 1 month setup. Can someone backup the claim that these test kits are NOT accurate?

I've never used them, but they are on the low end of the market for SW test kits.

Personally for peace of mind, I would invest in better test kits.
