thinking about salt

ok have had fresh water tanks for a while now and am thinking about turning 30 gal to salt. what is nec. that i don't already have for the fresh. just asking generally. no coral, can't afford the light, ha ha fish only. what maint. or upkeep is required that is not requ. for fresh. thought someone here might know.

32 Gal FW community
2 Platies
3 Mollies (1 black 1 silver 1 dalmation)
1 Gold fish
1 African frog

32 gal prob. going to be SW
researching right now.

55 Gal. FW African Cichlids
2 Electric Blue Ahli - Sciaenochromis Ahli
1 Powder Blue Socolofi-Pseudotropheus Socolofi
2 Albino Kribensis - Pelvicachromis pulcher
1 Bumble Bee - Pseudotropheus Crabro
1 Unknown Cichlid
1 Pictus Cat - Pimelodus pictus
1 Clown Loach - Botia macracantha

Your next step should be to get a good book on marine aquariums. I recomend "The Conscientious Marine Aquarist" by Robert Fenner. Decide what you want to keep, what sustrate, filtration and equipment you will need. Do a lot of research and keep asking questions. Lando
