Hey my torch coral has been in the tank since wednesday so five days i did a watcher change just now diring the water change timer went off for lights some of the tenticals retracted and turned a black color is this normal?

are you looking at with the lights off? I have a frogspawn and its tentacles darken up quite a bit when retracted but when they are out they are fine. You havent noticed and browning of them during the day have you? like a jelly or slimy brown covering over them? i not and they look fine with the lights on I wouldnt worry about it. I guess with that long tent sucked up into a small space, it wont be as light as with it fully extended. thats my opinion but lets see what the pros have say

cool i just watchin and waitin on the white tentacles to turn brown like the brown ones on the other heads its wierd half is white half is brown but i thinks its slowly changing to brown
