Hi all. I have a nice looking trumpet coral that my pistol shrimp decided to live under with my goby. It was laying directly on the LS. In the process of digging under it, it buried the bottom third of my trumpet coral in the sand. I did not notice this for a couple of days. When I pulled it out it was all white. Dead I'm afraid. Will these come back? Should I just break off the broken heads or leave them alone? Thanks! Lando

It bleached. It may come back. If it dies it will not affect the whole colony. I would wait and see. See if the feeding tentacles come out at night and feed it some frozen food for added energy!

It looks like it might be pretty dead to me. I will just let it be for a while to see what happens. thanks! Lando
