I just put a turbo snail in my tank, and I need to do a water change today. I know that certain inverts should not be exposed to air, but are turbo snails one of them?

My snail is right at the top of the tank now, so I can't do more than a 1% water change and keep him immersed. Of course I'll move him if I have to...

Don't worry, he will move. I have seen a snail out of the water a time or 2. One was even inverted on my glass top the other day. Think he was lost.

Mine climb out of the water every now and then. Sometimes I do water changes, and they're out for a while. They're always fine.

Will not be a problem. Mine often hang out at the top, sometimes climbing up the skimmer return. They will head for water if they need to.
