I have a hard green algae growing around the bottom of the glass just above the water line. I am trying to a)Find out why it is growing and b) What can I do to get rid of it without scraping. I know I can scrape the glass, but want to try and find another path if possible.
The second problem I have is that I think I have Cyano growing in my return tube from my fuge. I have a mag3 pump coming up to the tank that is getting pretty dark with a red looking substance. Since it is on the inside of the tubes it is impossible to tell what it is. Since Cyano can be combatted with increased flow, how does it live in an area of constant flow. Thanks for the insight, I really need it.
