If I don't have a sump, how do I connect the UV sterilizer to the tank? I tried with a powerhead connecting to the sterilizer and let it flows back to the tank, it did flow back, but the pipe seems like its gonna burst, water is dripping in between connection, cas I'm not using soft pipes (soft pipes take up a lot of space in the tank and is not a good sight for the tank), I use hard pipes and connect them into a "stairs" shape, I've already terminated it from using temporary. Is it not advisable to use the sterilizer this way (without sump)? Looking from its pattern, its created for use with a sump.

As the UV article says, most UV units are inline so they must be connected to a pump. There are a few HOB models as well.
You could hard plumb an inline UV unit I would think to a PH in the tank, but it may be easier to look for a HOB brand.
