VHO Lighting

I have a canopy that I have 4 VHO lights in right now... I was wondering how much space do you need between each bulb as I have another Icecap ballast that I can run another set on....However it will be tight inside the canopy. I will barely be able to feed the fish between the bulbs!

I think that as long as the bulbs are not touching, there is no immediate danger. However, the heat dissipation needs to be considered as they do run warmer that standard tubes. HTH

My bulbs are less than an inch apart Basicly so they dont touch and you have enough distance to remove them when its time to swap them out.

Glad you asked because I am ordering more lights on payday, was wondering the same thing.

I've seen HO and VHO on a 48" with up to 8 bulbs. or 4 PC.

I think getting rid of the heat would be the hardest part if you can get them to fit.
